THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Home Minister Ramesh Chennithala asked opposition leader V S Achuthanandan to clarify his stand on Karayi Rajan and Karayi Chandrasekharan, accused in the Fazal murder case, contesting the local body polls. Attending Thiruvananthapuram Press Club’s Janahitham 2015, he said the CPM is encouraging politics of violence.
Why is VS, who reacts on any issue, keeping mum on this issue?The people of the state are eager to know his stand. The CPM sees violence as an ornament. Poliburo member Pinaryai Vijayan and VS should try and stop their activists flowing to the BJP, he said.
The UDF had always taken a stand against communalism and politics of violence. The local polls will discuss this stand of the UDF, he said.
