THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Former Union Minister O Rajagopal has said that though an election candidate wins an election as a party candidate, he should not show politics while serving people.
He was inaugurating the reception accorded to councillors at Maruthamkuzhy Sarovaram auditorium. The event was organised under the aegis of Kowdiar Sayanthanam.
Rajagopal honoured councillors Dr Vijayalekshmi (Poojappura), Komalakumari (PTP Nagar), Madhusoodhanan Nair (Pangode), Anil (Thrikkannapuram), Harishankar (Vattiyoorkkavu) and Sayanthanam Organising Secretary R Harikrishna Kumar by draping Ponnada.
Sayanthanam president N Mohankumar chaired the function. Choozhal Nirmalan, Balakrishnan Nair, Sindhu S Kumar, Salim Mattapally and S Harish Kumar spoke at the function. Following this, a musical programme was performed by a group led by N Mohan Kumar, S H S Sharma, Radhika Nair and Jassentha Moris.
