KOLLAM: Prime Minister Narendra Modi Tuesday unveiled the statue of former chief minister R Sankar. The unveiling of the statue took place at a special venue organized on the grounds of the Kollam S N College and in the presence of many. SNDP Yogam general secretary and SN Trust secretary Vellappally Natesan presided over the function. Yogam president Dr M N Soman presented a memento to Modi.
SNDP yogam vice president Tushar Vellappally, BJP state president V Muraleedhan, SN medical mission secretary Dr G Jayadevan, Kollam union president mohan Shankar, statue installation committee general convenor S Suvarna Kumar took part in the function.
