THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Chief Minister Oommen Chandy has said that certain persons may be interested in blowing up the Solar issue. And this, they are doing, aiming Assembly election. The chief minister was speaking at a press conference here on Thursday.
Chandy also asked why those who had demanded for appointing Solar Commission didn’t join as party in the case. “Those who have joined as party are benamis. Those who had boycotted the commission are now coming out, using Biju Radhakrishnan as a shield,” he said and added that he didn’t feel that big conspiracy was going on against him.
Meanwhile, the chief minister skirted questions related to the reported discontent among DGPs Loknath Behera and Rishiraj Singh over the appointment of Vigilance chief. He said there was nothing wrong in the appointment of ADGP Shankar as Vigilance Director.
