THRISSUR: There was an attack by stray dogs in Thrissur again. Three including a six-month old baby was bitten by a dog at Kuthambully. The dog attacked Thara, daughter of Vinod of Chamundi Nagar in Kuthambully, when her mother was bathing her in the courtyard. The baby has been admitted in the hospital. Manikandan and Adarsh are the other two who sustained dog bites.
It was confirmed yesterday that the dog that bit six including children at Poyyayil was rabid. Five-year old Ayus, Jefin (6), Athul (12), Anna (10), Gauri (53) and P C Thomas (57) are those undergoing treatment in the hospital.
