THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Thiruvananthapuram-Chennai mail today jumped the signal and ran on the track for about one hour. The train moved from Kollam to Ochira.
The loco pilot was subjected to medical examination after doubts were raised that he was drunk. For more than one hour , the train has been halted.
The train had reached Kollam at around 6:20 pm and when the train left the station at 6:25 pm, it had not received the green signal. After running for an hour, it was made to halt at Ochira. The passengers got out of the train and protested.
