Efforts to protect state's heritage
KANNUR: A procession reflecting the state's culture named 'Rich heritage- friendly Kerala', its folk arts and artists, jointly organized by information and public relations department and Kerala Folk Lore Akademy would reach Kannur district today. Convenor of the Organising Committee Suresh Koothuparamba told newspersons here the Cultural procession which started in Thiruvananthapuram on September 5 would conclude in Kasargod on September 22. A reception was organised here and a folk artists meet and awareness programme was also held, Agriculture minister K P Mohanan, inaugurated cultural programme.
