Harihara Varma murder case: Verdict to be pronounced on Monday

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Thiruvananthapuram Fast Track Court judge K K Sujatha postponed to Monday pronouncing the verdict in the Harihara Varma murder case.

Jithesh, Rakhil, natives of Thalassery, Ajeesh of Vadakara, Ragesh of Chalakudy, Joseph of Karnataka and advocate Haridas of Kanjirampara are the accused in the case. When Rakhil and Ragesh are management students, Joseph was  an engineering student.

The murder and theft took place on December 24 in 2012 at the house of advocate Haridas’ daughter’s house ‘Omkar’ at Vattiyoorkavu.

Varma, a gem merchant, was strangulated to death by a team, who reached the house in the pretext of buying gems.
