THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: CPM State Secretary Pinarayi Vijayan has said that there is close link between top police officers in the State and blade mafia. “Several police officers collect bribe from these mafias every month and that too with the knowledge of the State government. And, that is why it is not possible to take action against these mafias,” Pinarayi alleged.
“What the government is doing now is just to hoodwink the public. Most often the word mafia is misused. The government will not dare to touch the real blade mafia,” he added.
