THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Solar Scam accused Saritha S Nair has given the statement that Salim Raj, former gunman of the chief minister, had called her on the day of her arrest. The call was made from Cliff house phone for some personal matters.
Crime Branch DySP Rafeeq, who is conducting the departmental enquiry, took the statement at City Police Commissioner Officer on Monday.
The inquiry was ordered against Salim for misusing phones in Cliff House and CM’s office to build a contact with Saritha. The statements were recorded from other staff of the chief minister, as well. The final report will be submitted before the DGP.
