Blackmailing case: Bindya’s gold ornaments missing?

KOCHI: There seems to be something fishy about gold ornaments that had been confiscated from Kochi blackmail case accused Bindyas (Surya) and kept in the court’s safe custody. She has refused to accept the ornaments returned to her by the court, stating that some of the ornaments in the returned set didn’t belong to her.

It is known that Bindyas will soon move an application in the court, seeking to restore her original ornaments. With this, the much-hyped case is likely to stir up controversies again.

At the time of her arrest the investigation team had taken into custody her stone-studded chain, a set of ear rings and six rings and the same were submitted to the court. Along with this, there were also her Alto car, two mobile phones and a laptop. The foul play came to light as soon as Bindyas submitted an application seeking the return of her ornaments.

Bindyas said that out of the six ornaments, two didn’t belong to her. There was also difference in the weight of a ring which originally weighed three grams. The two rings were returned to the court.

Though her car was returned , the court has retained her mobile phones and laptop in the custody as they were required for further investigation into the case.
