THRISSUR: CPM State secretary Kodiyeri Balakrishnan has said that no individual will be allowed to rise above the party. The party does not have a policy to prescribe one constitution for its leaders and another for its other cadres.
“The party has been trying to correct the wrong decisions taken by some of its persons. VS Achuthanandan is an inseparable part of the party and he will continue to be the Opposition leader. Wait and watch what is going to happen on March 6,” he quipped.
He said Kerala’s Aam Admi party is CPM and hence there was no need to help another AAP. In Delhi where the CPM didn’t contest, the party supported the AAP and in Kerala there would not be a place where the party would not contest .
Kodiyeri alleged that those in top posts in the UDF government are corrupt. “In Nisham’s case also the same thing happened, a reason why a Commissioner had to be suspended,” he added.
