Scolded by parents, tenth standard boy hangs self

KATTAKADA: A tenth standard student committed suicide on Friday by hanging himself after being scolded by her parents.  The dead was identified as Monu S S (15), the son of Suresh Kumar and Kala from Poyyurkonam at Nellikkad.   

According to the police, the parents had scolded Manu for not studying well. Hurt by this, he got into his room and hanged himself. Though the parents rushed him to Kantala Sahakarana hospital, he was declared brought dead. He was a student of Philip Memorial School. The parents also have a daughter.
