ALAPPUZHA: JSS sub-committee has decided to merge with CPM if Gowri Amma and her associates are given due consideration in the party . JSS has entrusted its general secretary Gowri Amma with the duty to hold discussion with the CPM leadership in this regard.
Instructions are there to give due consideration to Gowri Amma and office bearers and activists in various factions of the JSS. Discussions should ensure inclusion of Gowri Amma in CPM state secretariat.
CPM State Secretary Kodiyeri Balakrishnan had, the other day, visited Gowri Amma at her home and invited her to CPM.
Her reply was that she could not return alone to the CPM, leaving behind those who were with her at the time of her expulsion from the party. Kodiyeri had agreed to accommodate her associates in the CPM and informed Gowri Amma that State Committee would discuss the issue. Based on this assurance, JSS subcommittee meeting was held at Gowri Amma’s house.
