Kerala Congress Secular has been revived

KOCHI: Kerala Congress (Secular) Chairman T S John has announced at a press conference in Kochi that the party has been revived. “P C George will continue in Kerala Congress (M) as otherwise, anti-defection law could be invoked against him. The Secular group will continue in the UDF. The party’s state committee office will be in Kottayam and other offices in Thiruvananthapuram, Kollam and Alappuzha have already started functioning. In other districts offices, will be opened within ten days,” T S John said on Saturday.
John said, proper investigation should be carried out into the corruption charges against Finance Minister K M Mani and his son Jose K Mani. “The Vigilance has found out that Mani is corrupt. In this circumstances, he should resign. In the past, ministers facing corruption charges have resigned. Mani should follow that tradition.  Even in the Kerala Congress high power committee, Mani’s resignation was demanded. We are not saying that all in the UDF are corrupt. But the Vigilance is aware of Mani’s corruption,” Johan said, adding, “why Mani is not approaching court, seeking cancellation of the FIR, if his hands are  clean”.

John added that the Secular party would work unitedly against corruption and its goal is corruption-free governance.
