Sunday, June 05, 2011: Opposition leader and former Chief Minister, V S Achuthanandan today said evicting Baba Ramdev out from the Ramlila Maidan in Delhi by the police is similar to that of emergency situation. He said people like Anna Hazare protested as they couldn’t tolerate the corruption of the Manmohan Singh government. The strike launched by Ramdev has a different nature. Even though four union ministers held talks with him, they were not ready to give a clarification note on the action against corruption.
