Friday, July 08, 2011: Expressing strong dissatisfaction over the revised Budget presented by KM Mani, Opposition leader, VS Achuthanandan opined that it was a monotonous budget. Speaking to the mediapersons at a press meet held here, Achuthanandan complained that the budget is bound to aggravate regional imbalances.
VS added that KM Mani had presented this budget after making minor amendments to the previous LDF government’s budget. The UDF government’s rice at Rs 1 per kg scheme has not been included in the budget, VS said.
