25 lakh to take part in CPM’s human chain

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: From Manjeshwaram to Thiruvananthapuram Rajbhavan, the CPM will line up about 25 lakh cadres on Tuesday to form human chain in protest against various policies of the State and Central governments. The party is also preparing itself to make the day’s big protest a historical event.

The protest will start at 4 in the evening and the human chain  will extend from Manjeeswaram to National highway and from Angamali through MC road to Rajbhavan. The agitators will face east direction and sit forming human wall. They will stand up at :45 pm and at 4:50 pm will take a pledge before dispersing.   

The organisers has said that sufficient arrangements will be made to allow free flow of traffic. Chairs, paper and tarpaulin have been provided to the participants for building temporary shelters.
