THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Nivin Pauly, Sudev Nair and Nazriya have been chosen the best actors of 2014. Nivin Pauly bagged the award for his stunning performances in 1983 and Bangalore Days and Sudev Nair for his role in My Life Partner. Nazriya attained the award for her role in Bangalore Days and Om Shanthi Oshana. Nivin bagged the award after competing with Mammootty and Jayasurya.
Ottal directed by Jayaraj has been adjudged the best feature film. Padma Kumar’s My Life Partner has been chosen second best film. The award for the best director has been bagged by Sanal Kumar for Oralpokkam.
Anoop Menon bagged the best supporting actor award for his roles in 1983 and Vikramadithyan and Sethulekshmi grabbed the award for best supporting actress for her role in How Old Are You. Anjali Menon bagged the award for best script. Ebrid Shines is the best debut director for 1983.
The award for best playback singer has been bagged by Yesudas and Shreya Ghoshal the best female playback singer.
The award for best choreographer has been bagged by Sajna Najam for Vikramadityan, best cameraman Amal Neerad (Iyyobinte Pusthakam), music director Ramesh Narayanan.
