NEW DELHI: BJP Central leadership has instructed the Kerala unit of the party to stand by SNDP yogam general secretary Vellapally Natesan, who is in the centre of new controversies in Kerala. The VHP and RSS leaderships also have echoed the same sentiments.
"The present issues aim at torpedoing Natesan's move to form broad Hindu unity and it should be politically countered. BJP and SNDP should stand together in the local body polls in all districts," the BJP directions said.
RSS-VHP leaderships are of the opinion that the State unit is not taking necessary steps to work for BJP-SNDP unity. Based on this, BJP national general secretary Ramlal has called up State chief V Muraleedharan and has given appropriate instructions. Muraleedharan also met national leaders yesterday.
