College magazine with sexually explicit content to be withdrawn

KOLLAM: Authorities of a college have decided to withdraw the college magazine that allegedly contains contents with sexual reference to women. The college also suspended Magazine editor Bibin Bobachan. The incident happened at Anchal St Johns College recently.

The action against the editor was taken after sexually explicit contents appeared under the title ‘Campus Nikhandu’. The magazine was brought out under the title ‘Seasons 2015’. The controversial article appears on 105 page and it reportedly aims at exposing the slangs used by students in the college.

The issue became controversial after the photos of the page started spreading through social media.
