Hartal against capital punishment on Nov 11

KOZHIKODE: A hartal will be observed across Kerala on November 11 against the capital punishment. The hartal will be observed by an association of people who have been campaigning against death penalty in the country.

The hartal will be observed to raise the demands like putting an end to death sentence in the country, passing a resolution in the Cabinet against the death sentence and protecting the human rights of jail inmates.

As a precursor to the hartal, likeminded citizens with the support of socio-political organisations will organise mass conventions.
