THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: ADGP Ananthakrishnan has entrusted crime branch Ernakulam SP P K Madhu to examine the possibility of probe in the case in connection with the death of Swamy Saswathikananda. The crime branch will examine the revelation of Sree Narayana Dharmavedi general secretary Biju Ramesh that swamy’s death was a murder. The ADGP has directed to examine and submit a report within two days whether the allegation has been investigated earlier.
Biju had revealed that it was Priyan, an accused in Praveen murder case, who killed Swamy Saswathikananda. In this context, the crime branch may take a statement from him. However, Priyan had rejected the allegations and asserted that he is been made a victim for political mileage. The SP will examine whether there is any truth in this allegation.
In the wake of the new revelations, there is a demand from many quarters for a further probe.
