KOZHIKODE: Chief Minister Oommen Chandy will compromise with anyone to continue in power, said CPM state secretary Kodiyeri Balakrishnan. Talking at the press meet, he said all help for the RSS-SNDP alliance is given by the chief minister.
The chief minister has entrusted Rajan Babu, a member of the UDF high powered committee, to formulate the constitution of the party to be floated by the SNDP, he said.
The government’s unwillingness to conduct a further probe on the death of Saswathikananda is suspicious, he said. A further probe was conducted on the basis of new revelations in many cases after this government came to power. However, the government has taken a stand against the probe. Chief Minister’s silence is meaningful in it.
Swamy died during the tenure of the then chief minister A K Antony. The LDF Government which came later conducted a crime branch probe. The things which were not revealed then has been revealed now.
The CPM has no enmity towards SNDP. However, SNDP’s tie up with the RSS will be opposed as it is against the ideas of Sree Narayana Guru, he said.
