ALAPPUZHA: SNDP Yogam General Secretary Vellapally Natesan has said that a third front, as an alternative to Congress and CPM, is very much essential in Kerala. This is the reason why SNDP is forming a national party. He was speaking to media persons after attending the meeting on party formation.
“We can make weapons only when the iron is red hot. Now it is time for that…Members of SNDP are of the opinion that a party should be formed and we shall go ahead with our decision. It will not be a Hindu unity but a unity of secular g groups. That is what we aim at…We shall talk with like-minded groups regarding the formation of a party,” he said
Natesan also asserted that the BJP will open its account in Kerala in the upcoming Assembly election.
