Woman held for gold theft
KOCHI: The Paravoor police on Wednesday held a woman who used to steal gold from houses on the pretext of working as house maid. Maheswari (58), a native of Parvoor was held for stealing four gold chains and two gold rings from two houses here. The cops also held Maniyanachari, a jeweller hailing from Kottuvalli who used to buy stolen ornaments from Maheswari.
