THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Hindu Aikya Vedi state general secretary Kummanam Rajashekaran has taken over the as the BJP state chief. He assumed office at 10.30 am at BJP headquarters Mararji Bhavan.
Outgoing chief V Muraleedharan officially handed over the charge to Kummanam. Senior leaders O Rajagopal, P K Krishnadas and many others were present.
Talking to reporters soon after taking charge, he said the post is a big responsibility. He requested the cooperation of everyone to take the party forward.
