Man held for murder attempt

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: A 55-year-old man was arrested by the Balaramapuram police for an alleged attempt to murder. Ganesh, who hails from Thembamuttom in Balaramapuram, was wanted for his role in the attack on one Shibu using sharp objects on November 26.

Three others were also involved in the attack. The victim was admitted to the Thiruvananthapuram Government Medical College with injuries. It is believed that an argument over consuming liquor in public places had resulted in the incident. The police are on the lookout for the others involved in the attack.
