THRISSUR: A newborn baby was found abandoned at Vadakkancherry on Sunday.
The six-week-old baby girl was found inside a bag. The bag was first spotted by locals near a wayside shop near a Muslim church at Vadakkancherry. They informed the police, who reached the spot and examined the bag. Inside the bad there were feeding bottle and dresses. The police soon shifted the baby to Medical College hospital. The police have started search to find out who had abandoned the child.
