ALAPPUZHA: Alappuzha DCC president A A Shukoor has alleged that a community leader had a role in sabotaging the case related to vandalisation of P Krishna Pillai memorial and sought an inquiry into this allegation. He told media persons on Sunday that he had no trust in the present police team that is investigating the case.
“In the investigation team, there are persons who are protecting CPM leaders. Hence, the team’s inquiry will have no credibility,” said Shukoor, alleging that CPM leader Thomas Issac MLA had a role in the conspiracy.
