No need for leadership change in UDF: Minister Thiruvanchoor

KOTTAYAM: Minister Thiruvanchoor Radhakrishnan has said there is no need for leadership change in the UDF. “Kerala’s current government is the one which has done many good things over the past four and a half years,” he said at a press conference here on Sunday.

“If there is any deficiency in the functioning of the government, it should rectify the mistake and move forward. What has to be said should be said in party meetings. Instead of that, making public statements will not help anyone. Thousands of Congress activists had offered their blood, sweat and toil to foster the Congress party. Nobody should forget that. No leaders are made by themselves; it is people who create leaders. After reaching certain positions, the leaders should not spurn the party which had helped them reach that position,” he said.

Thiruvanchoor added that if one has to say something in the party, he should say it at respective venues. Thinking that one can enthral people by making public statements is a blunder.
