SHORNUR: An aged couple, who reached their relative’s house was found hacked to death. The dead has been identified as Balakrishna Warrier (84) of Kottayam and his wife Thankamani Warasyar (84). They were found dead at Girish Master’s house in Shornur. Warrier may have ended his life after hacking his wife to death.
The couple reached their relative’s house a month before. Girish Master and his family left for Palani leaving the couple in the house. They returned back today and as there was no response, they got inside through the back door and found them lying dead on the beds. The couple has no children. No theft has taken place. Thankamani is aunt of Girish Master’s wife.
