Doctors seek expert opinion on P Jayarajan

HALASSERY: The medical report submitted by the doctors of Kozhikode Medical College has recommended to seek the opinion of expert doctors on the health condition of CPM Kannur district secretary P Jayarajan, remanded in the Kathiroor Manoj murder case.

Jayarajan suffering chest pain at times should be seen seriously. The report has also stated that if necessary he should be given treatment at a super specialty hospital. At present, his health condition is okay.

The CBI had withdrawn from seeking his custody for interrogation as his health condition was not satisfactory. They later filed a plea at the Thalassery court seeking his custody.

The CBI had earlier argued in the court that he has no health problems. However, the CBI failed to produce the medical court demanded by the court. The court will consider the case again on February 25.
