THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Minister P J Joseph and Chief Minister Oommen Chandy have dismissed reports that the former had given a letter to the latter, for allowing the Joseph group in Kerala Congress to continue as a special party in the UDF.
But, Joseph said there are some issues within the party and attempts are going on to resolve that. “It is natural for any party or group to ask for more seats,” he said.
The chief minister also confirmed that Joseph had not given any letter to him. “I came to know about it only when Mani called me from Delhi to ask about the report. If something appears as breaking news in channels, it need not be true. At least from now onwards, channels should stop baffling people,” Chandy quipped.
