THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The opposition LDF staged protests in the assembly without cooperating in the question hour. They created an uproar seeking the resignation of Chief Minister Oommen Chandy and Ministers K Babu and V S Sivakumar. The opposition reached the assembly with placards seeking the resignation of the ministers.
The opposition refused to pay heed to Speaker N Shakthan’s demand to ask questions to the minister during question hour. Excise Minister K Babu later kept the reply on the assembly table.
Opposition members V Sivankutty and V S Sunil Kumar reached in front of the speaker’s dais and shouted slogans.
