THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: A 75-year-old-woman was killed after hit by a KSRTC bus when she was crossing the road. The dead has been identified as Rukkiya Beevi of Nedumangad.
The accident happened near the Nandavanam Library Friday morning. Though she was rushed to medical college hospital, her life could not be saved.
The incident happened when she was on her way to the mosque. The traffic police has taken the bus into custody.
