THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: This year’s P Bhaskaran Award of P Bhaskaran Foundation functioning in Kodungalloor will be given to ONV Kurup posthumously. ONV Kurup’s widow Sarojini will accept the award from noted poet and song writer Sreekumaran Thampy at a function held at Kerala University College. Actor Madhu will inaugurate the function.
The function will be presided over by script writer John Paul. Lenin Rajendran, chairman of Film Development Corporation will commemorate P Bhaskaran. Film academy chairman Kamal and University College Principal Vinayachandran will speak at the function. The award carries a cash prize of Rs 50,000 and a citation.
