Party venue is not the place to discuss issues affecting country’s security: Sudheeran

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The issues affecting the country’s security should have been discussed in the Parliament and not at the party venue, said KPCC chief V M Sudheeran. The speech delivered in Kozhikode on the Uri attack was discussed at the political affairs committee. The BJP should have postponed its national executive meet after the Uri attack.

The attack makes clear the lapse occurred in the country’s safety. Correct steps should have been taken after learning lessons from the Pathankot attack. The announcement of Amit Shah that they would form a government in Kerala is only a daydream. A strong campaign would be launched by the congress against the polarization efforts of the BJP and the CPM, he said.
