THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Nemom police have arrested Karumam Ambalamukku native Sunil Kumar, who allegedly stabbed his relative to death during a squabble. The accused is being questioned. The victim has been identified as Karumam Ambalamukku Kamukara Panayil house resident Rajesh alias Manikantan (28).
Police said Sunil stabbed Rajesh with the knife he was carrying while they were quarrelling over the purchase of a vehicle during Onam.
The incident happened on Friday. Though his friends rushed him to hospital, his life could not be saved.
Sunil Kumar is Rajesh’s first cousin.
