A luxury-loving chief secretary for a corrupt govt, ridicules VS

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Opposition leader V S Achuthanandan has mocked at the government chief secretary, saying that a luxury-loving chief secretary would make a perfect match for the corrupt Chandy government.

The government has hiked the cost of everything including the drinking water under the pretext of financial crisis, just to help the ministers and officials including the chief secretary have a lavish life.

A Rs 2-core house is being built at Golf Links for the chief secretary while another bungalow  is being repaired at the cost of Rs One crore for him to stay till the new house is built. In that, for the kitchen itself, 36 lakh rupees is being spent.

Two three months ago at the time of National Games, a big amount was withdrawn from the government treasury for the construction purpose. Ironically, it is the chief secretary who has an own house in Thiruvananthapuram who is supervising this extravaganza.
It seems the chief secretary is trying to compete among corrupt ministers in Kerala
