Don’t try to stay back in Yemen: K C Joseph

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Minister K C Jospeh has called upon the Malayalis  currently in Yemen not to think of staying back in the country, seeing temporary peace in between the firing and shelling going on there.

“The Malayalis should use all options at their disposal to return to Kerala, considering the turbulent situation in that country. We have requested Home Minister Sushma Swaraj to extend the flight returning from Yemen, till Kochi. The hospital managements in Yemen have agreed to bear the expense of Exit visa for nurses besides others expenses needed for their return journey. Yemen has also not issued any ultimatum to the non-Yemenis  to leave the country,” he told media after attending a high level meeting presided by the chief minister on Monday.
