THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: "The letter released now is not mine and it is not my responsibility to prove the authenticity of it," said Saritha S Nair, accused in the solar case. The 30-page letter written in jail was handed over to the personal assistant of former minister Ganesh Kumar. Talking to the media, she said the letter was handed to the personal assistant due to my friendly relation with Ganesh.
The contents of the letter is about my life and has not mentioned the name of Jose K Mani MP, she said. However, the letter has the names of politicians and higher ups. Showing reporters the letter written in jail, she said the last page of the letter has her signature. The complaint against A P Abdullakutty was not directly written by me but by somebody else. This handwriting was copied in the letter released yesterday. Anybody’s handwriting can be copied, she said.
"Please don’t ruin the political life of Jose K Mani by leveling baseless allegations. In the present situation, the original letter cannot be exposed now," she said.
