Buffalo runs amok, on its way to slaughterhouse

 
PATHANAMTHITTA: A buffalo which was taken to a slaughterhouse ran amok, creating scare among the people. After six hours, the animal was brought under control by locals and police. 

The animal had been kept tethered at the slaughterhouse at Konni. It snapped the rope in which it was kept tied and ran helter-shelter. In his attempt to catch the animal, Arun , a local, was gored by it. He was soon admitted to a private hospital.

The buffalo after freeing itself ran into a field at Vettoor, creating tense situation. Police were called in and they along with local residents caught the buffalo and chained it again.
