THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: KPCC chief V M Sudheeran Saturday sought the expulsion of consumer fed chairman Joy Thomas. The letter given to Chief Minister Oommen Chandy seeking the expulsion of Thomas has alleged wide spread corruption in the consumerfed.
Joy Thomas is not fit for the post and an efficient person should be appointed in his place, the letter has sought. The chief minister has handed over the letter to Cooperative Minister C N Balakrishnan.
Tomin J Thachankary who took a strong stand against the corruption in consumerfed was removed from his post recently.
Talking to reporters here, Sudheeran confirming about the letter said that he is not for an open controversy. The chief minister has also informed that the letter was handed over to the cooperative minister.
Meantime, it is not right to oust the chairman arbitrarily, said K Muraleedharan MLA. An investigation is being conducted on the irregularities in the consumerfed, he said.
