Tuesday, July 05, 2011: KPA Majeed and ET Muhammad Basheer have been named as the state general secretaries of Indian Union Muslim League. Briefing the decisions of the working panel, Panakkad Hyderali Shihab Thangal and P K Kunhalikutty said Majeed will be in charge of the organisational affairs and Basheer the general affairs. Advocate A Mohammed Sahib and K V Mohammed Kunji are the new vice presidents. M C Mayin Haji, PMA Salaam, Kutty Ahamed Kutty, M I Thangal are the new secretaries. Social Welfare Minister M K Muneer has resigned his post of secretary as part of implementing one-person, one-post norm. P V Abdul Wahab will be in charge of Chandrika daily.
