Thursday, July 07, 2011: The Thrissur Vigilance Court on Thursday ordered vigilance probe against former Minister S Sarma. The probe was ordered on the basis of a complaint that a corruption worth Rs 19 crore has taken place by giving undue concessions to the Kerala Cricket Association by exempting it from stamp duty for buying the land for Edakochi stadium. The probe was ordered against 18 persons including KCA secretary TC Mathew and Tax secretary Mara Pandian. The Court has also directed to submit investigation report before September 17.
