THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: For the treatment of the poor fund named ‘Ashwas Nidhi’ will be started in all local body institutions, according to UDF election manifesto that was released today. Along with the above fund, a scheme under the title “vishappinodu vida” will also be introduced. At the UDF convention held in Kochi, the election manifesto was released by Muslim League State President Panakkad Hyderali Shihab Thangal.
In the manifesto there are also declaration on one-time meal in local body institutions and people’s societies to encourage organic farming and waste treatment plants. Free Wifi will be arranged in local body offices. Yearly get-together of NRIs, Grievance redressal centres everywhere and special packages for the protection of migrant labourers are other promises in the manifesto.
