NEW DELHI: The Supreme Court Thursday upheld the order of the Kerala High Court acquitting ripper Jayanandan, notorious criminal, in the Perinjanam double murder case. The apex court passed the order rejecting the appeal of the Kerala Government against the verdict of the high court.
While rejecting the plea, the court observed that evidences are important in the case.Though the trial court awarded death sentence in the Perinjanam case, the high court had cancelled it.
