SBI official knocked down by train

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: A 30-year-old SBI official identified as Remya Soman died on the spot after she was hit by a train Thursday morning.  She was a native of Kottayam and a clerk of the Veli branch. The body was found lying near Veli Pound Kadavu soon after Kochuveli Express passed the station at 8.30 am.  The body has been shifted to the mortuary of medical college hospital for post mortem after the inquest. She was seen walking through the track minutes before the arrival of the train. She is likely to have hit by the train on her way to the bank. She leaves behind her husband Anoop Anand working in the US.
