THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: A tipper driver was killed after a KSRTC bus and his vehicle collided at the MC Road on the Thycaud turning in Venjaramoodu at 9 am Friday morning. The condition of five is stated to be serious and they have been admitted at the medical college hospital in the capital city. The dead has been identified as Shafi (30) of Vembayam.
The tipper carrying metal from Venjaramoodu collided with the KSRTC bus while proceeding to Vembayam. The bus was on its way to Thrissur from Thiruvananthapuram. The accident happened in the heavy rains.
Shafi leaves behind his wife Ansy and daughter Suhana.
